Worship & Arts Ministry It is the vision of the River of Life Christian Center Worship and Arts Ministry to effectively minister the Word of God through music, dance, and drama.  Our desire is to bring the church to a true, life changing worship experience while holding fast to the passage in Colossians 3:16. There we're instructed to let the word of Christ dwell in us richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in our hearts to the Lord.  It is our earnest desire to empower the believer to deepen their relationship with God through the power of praise & worship.  Message from Our Worship & Arts Directors We welcome you to the ROLCC Worship & Arts Ministry.  If God has given you gifts that can be used in one or more of these ministries allow us to extend this invitation to you to become involved with our ministry.  We strive for a spirit of excellence in all that we do.  With your help, we can take our ministry to the next level.  Don’t sit on you gifts, become active as soon as possible. There are many ways for you to connect with us in the ministry of worship here at ROLCC.  Listed below are the descriptions of all the ministries under Worship and Arts. Voices of Praise Choir - The Voices of Praise Choir is the meat of all the singers in the church.  The choir consist of members who are interested in giving their all by ministering through song as a group.  We rehearse each Wednesday evening from 7:30-9:00 PM in the sanctuary.  We minister every 1st and 3rd Sunday at both 9 and 11 AM services.  The choir is a fun-loving group and is open to ages from high school and up.  No audition is required for this group. Praise & Worship Team - This is the frontline in battle, spiritual warfare.  The responsibility of the Praise & Worship Team is to usher in the Holy Spirit where it shall dwell and abide with us at service and for any event where the worship team is needed.  This Ministry takes a committed and dedicated person.  One who is chosen by God set apart to live the life that you sing about.  One who has a relationship with the Lord and whose desire is to praise and worship God in spirit and in truth.  The praise team rehearse each Wednesday evening from 6-7:30 PM in the sanctuary. We minister every Sunday at both 9 and 11 AM services.  This is a chosen and auditioned group. Musicians Corner - Are you a skilled and anointed musician?  Well the Levites of ROLCC are those who play instruments, read music, and commit to services throughout the week.  We rehearse along with the praise team and choir each Wednesday from 6-9 PM.  This is an auditioned group. Dance Ministry - This ministry serves the purpose to promote praise through the art of expressive dance.  The phases of the dance ministry are: Children’s dance, God’s Little Wonders of Worship, which is training in expressive dance for ages 5-12 yrs. No audition required. Youth & Adult Dance, Visions of Praise, which is developing dancers and those with the heart to praise God fully realizing the meaning of being a dance warrior in worship.  There is no age limit, only the one of spiritual mindset. A simple audition is required for this group. Mime Ministry, His Expressions, is expression by creating illusions of reality used to minister to the hearts of God’s people by presenting situations with their bodies and expressions. A simple audition is required for this group.  These ministries rehearse each Saturday from 1-5 PM with the exception of children who rehearse via announcement on Saturdays from 1-3PM.  Drama Ministry - This ministry consist of anything from acting, to playwriting, producing, decorating, set designing, etc.  If you are dramatic and have a lot of energy, with your dramatic self, this is the place for you.  The drama ministry rehearses each Saturday from 1-3 PM. No audition is required for this group. Requirements: 1. Completed All New Beginnings Classes 2. Helps Application submitted and approved by the Helps Ministry Director.
